This, like nothing before, has impressed upon me the wonderful priveledge we enjoy of having the Bible in our own language. Think of the implications for you if the Vulgate was the only version you had. One should study the Bible for what it says about God's perfect plan for man, but also, I think to a tiny amount out of gratitude to those who did the mammoth task of translating it into our own language.
