TODAY is the birthday of President Jakaya Kikwete, who has attained the age of 58. President Kikwete was born October 7, 1950 in the village of Msoga, County Lugoba Bagamoyo cleft palate District of Coast Province. It is one of the sons of Khalfan Kikwete and daughter Asha messages (both are deceased). Born Reverend Jakaya Mrisho cleft palate Kikwete Khalfan, and grow in a family of leaders. He contested the presidency in the last General elections and won, and December 21, 2005 he was sworn in as the fourth President of Tanzania. According to the book of 'Kikwete, Journey to the White House, "President Kikwete has seven children, two of whom, Ridhiwani and Salama gave birth to his first wife, Aziza Soap (deceased); five has given birth to his current wife, Salma who is Miraji, Ally, Khalfan, Mwanaisha and Rashid 'Odo'.
